Veza Sur Brewing Co. in Miami will celebrate its fourth birthday with a block party on Saturday, August 21. Complete with live performances, a limited-edition birthday cerveza release, bites by Miami’s favorite local spots, the event will take place over the block at its Wynwood brewery. RSVP here.
Kicking off at 12 p.m., guests can hit the dance floor from the moment they arrive with live sets by DJ Wasabi, DJ Ill-Set, and DJ Ka5, and musical performances by Cortadito, Seed of Gaiya, and Manny Swag. The brewery will keep the party going with their favorite Veza Sur brews, including limite-edition Mezcalito Belgian Strong Ale. This celebratory beer has been aged in mezcal barrels for 14 months and clocks in at 10.3% ABV. The bottle also boasts a unique label designed by Miami artist Max Mayoral (also known as Funkgator). The artist will also stop by to sell his one-of-a-kind pieces from 3 to 6 p.m.
“We love serving our Florida familia and we wanted to create the ultimate brew to go with the ultimate celebration, as a way to say ‘gracias’ for these first four years of cervezas,” said Marshall Hendrickson, co-founder of Veza Sur Brewing Co. “Staying true to our latin roots, Mezcalito comes to life with rich Mezcal flavors and Belgian spices. It was aged for 14 months, y valió la pena esperar to celebrate our birthday!”
Veza Sur will send its epic party bus out across Wynwood to pick up any party-goers interested in celebrating. Bites from local favorites like Chi-fa, Night Owl Cookies, Wolf of Tacos, and Apocalypse BBQ will fuel the fun. Guests will also have the opportunity to stop by pop-ups by Xtreme Axe Throwing and free tattoos by a local Miami shop.
