In response to COVID-19, Cirque du Soleil has launched CirqueConnect to make its remarkable acrobatic feats and charming storytelling available to view around the globe. The digital content hub presents a weekly 60-minute production featuring some of the most breathtaking moments from Cirque shows. “The mission of Cirque du Soleil has always been to provide unique and awe-inspiring experiences,” says Sheila Morin, chief marketing and experience officer for the Canadian- based troupe. “Our shows give our fans a chance to escape into fantasy and imaginary worlds through our stories and unique characters. Now more than ever, we need to continue to provide wonderment, even from afar.” The CirqueConnect platform offers access to a backlog of Cirque du Soleil’s previous specials and other videos, bringing hours of enjoyment to viewers free of charge.
