Summer Events at Wynwood Walls

The Miami arts destination will host a series of summer events all month long, from all-ages yoga to local graffiti art history lessons

Wynwood Walls will host a series of summer events all month long, from yoga to local art history lessons. The arts and culture destination will partner with the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County to host Arsht at The Wynwood Walls, featuring performances by Susan the Contortionist from Rainbow Circus Miami, on August 12 and 19, from 6 to 7 p.m. Reserve here.

For artists wanting to learn from inspiring local creators, Wynwood Walls will host a series of art classes every Saturday this month. Florida-based muralist, creative director, and designer Nico! will drop by to teach the Basics of Mural Production on August 14, from 11 a.m. to noon. On August 21, guests will learn the History of Graffiti and practice their best graffiti letters on an abandoned train car. Tickets for art events cost $18 per person and can be reserved here.

Yogis of all ages are welcome for Sprout Yoga + Mindfulness’ Glow in the Dark Yoga (Glowga) on Friday, August 27, from 6 to 7 p.m. Children ages 2 to 7 (and their guardians) will flow through a vinyasa class with instructors Shana Rain and Corey Chase in the picturesque Wynwood Walls Garden. Tickets cost $18 per child and adult duo and can be reserved here. Rain and Chase will host another all levels Vinyasa class–set to Afro-Caribbean music–for Yoga in the Garden on Wednesday, August 18, at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $16 and can be reserved here.
