The City of Miami Beach will unveil Miami Beach Live!, a month-long celebration in March that will feature exciting activations and live events designed to engage the senses. Every Friday through Sunday from March 1-29, Miami Beach Live! will host an eclectic lineup of programming in and around Lummus Park and the beachfront areas from 10th to 13th Street.
Locals and visitors will enjoy genre-themed programming, including Dance, Pop, International, and Symphonic/Broadway, across an array of music, arts, culture, and culinary offerings. The festivities kick off each week Friday night movie at 8 p.m., then a Saturday evening headlining concert, and a Sunday “dine-around” spotlighting Miami Beach’s food scene with prix fixe menus.
From March 4-6, guests will enjoy a “Dance” weekend in partnership with Winter Party, with a concert by Erasure. “Pop” takes over March 11-13 with a concert featuring headliners Alanis Morissette and Jon Batiste. “International” gets the spotlight March 18-20 with a performance by Juanes. A “Symphonic/Broadway” weekend rounds out the Miami Beach Live! offerings March 25-27, with a concert by stage legend Bernadette Peters and an opening performance by Brian Stokes Mitchell.
“We are excited to add Miami Beach Live! to the rich mosaic of arts and culture programming in our city,” said Miami Beach Mayor Dan Gelber. “This will be something residents and visitors alike can enjoy and will truly have something for everyone.”
