Live at M Park Kicks Off at The Shops at Midtown Miami

Jahzel Dotel, Anna Palmerola, and Keith Johns will lend their talents to the summer music series, kicking off June 2

The Shops at Midtown Miami (3401 N. Miami Ave.) will a series of free live music performances by Litus Music musicians to celebrate summer. Live at M Park will kick off on Thursday, June 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The other summer performances will take place July 14 and August 18.

Visitors will gather at M Park, located near West Elm and Nordstrom Rack. Bring a blanket or chair and grab some food to-go from one of The Shop’s eateries.

Jahzel Dotel will kick off the series on June 2. Dotel is a soprano jazz singer with soulful style, evoking Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, and Billie Holiday. Dotel performs in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. She won the Miami Beach Jazz Festival Vocal Competition in 2013. In her spare time, Dotel is a performance artist and vocalist for Alma Dance Theater and Pioneer Winter Collective, as well as a yoga teacher.

Anna Palmerola takes the stage July 14. The Miami local of Cuban heritage injects Latin flair into every project she undertakes. Palmerola has performed at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival, Miami Heat games, Big Brothers, Big Sisters Gala, and more.

Keith Johns closes out the series on August 18. Johns crafts dynamic, beautifully orchestrated indie folk music with lyrics that reflect a variety of emotions, from joy to sorrow and longing. Following the successful release of his 2014 EP Maps & Plans, Johns and his band headed back into the studio and set out to craft a debut album. Grateful Fool, a stunning journey of self awareness and growth, weaves threads of hope, humility, and truth.
