Just Salad to Open Aventura Location

Just Salad, the New York City-based health food destination, will debut its first-Miami-Dade County location in Town Center Aventura on Saturday, August 1. The restaurant will be the chain’s fifth Florida location.

To celebrate the grand opening, the eatery will offer diners 50 percent off all orders placed at the restaurant on Saturday, August 1. To continue the celebration, guests ordering pick-up for the first time through the website will receive 50 percent off their order when using code AVENTURA50 from August 3 to August 9.

The restaurant features a local produce-forward seasonal menu that rotates throughout the year. Just Salad’s local produce providers are Miami-based Harvest Sensations and Loxahatchee-based J&J Family of Farms.

“Our mission is to make everyday health and everyday sustainability possible,” said Nick Kenner, founder and CEO of Just Salad. “Our Aventura location is the first of many we plan to open in Miami-Dade over the next few years. No other fast casual restaurants in the area offer the mix of quality, affordability, and sustainability that Just Salad is so well known for.”

In addition to sourcing local ingredients to minimize environmental impact, the chain announced that they will be display carbon footprint information for every item on the online menu by September 21, which marks the beginning of Climate Week in New York City. The restaurant also partnered with Kenneth Cole to design and provide reusable face masks for all employees. Masks are required for all teammates and guests.
