Thoroughbred racing just got a lot more fun with the introduction of Carousel Club, the newest attraction at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach. The trackside entertainment space allows guests to cheer on their winning horse while indulging in bites from rotating food trucks, sipping on cocktails from a full bar, ordering bottles of bubbly tableside beneath fringed umbrellas, and partaking in garden games with friends and family.

Besides the quick-paced races, Carousel Club’s biggest draw is the antique carousel in the center of it all—a moving piece of eye candy that’s been transformed into a bar and doubles as a photo backdrop you’ve probably seen all over social media. The day-to-night venue takes on a new life as the sun dips below the horizon, when Carousel Club ups the ante with mixology programs, lighting features, DJs, and other live entertainment. If this outdoor fun zone feels slightly reminiscent of The Wharf, that’s because its owners are the brains behind the 14,000-square-foot operation.
