Memorial Day Weekend brings the most dramatic spectacle of all—overhead. Billed as “The Greatest Show Above the Earth,” the Hyundai Air & Sea Show soars into Miami Beach May 23-24. In 2026, the National Salute to America’s Heroes presented by Hyundai takes on added significance as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary. This free event transforms the shoreline into a front-row seat for military aviation and technology. Headlining this year’s edition are the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, whose precision flying regularly leaves beachgoers staring skyward.

Beyond the aerial performances, the show’s FPL Patriot Display Village spans five city blocks and honors all six branches of the U.S. Armed Forces with interactive exhibits featuring military equipment, including tanks, helicopters, tactical gear, and simulators. The experience also includes the Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Kids Zone, Mission BBQ Food Court, extreme sports demonstrations, and live music—creating a dynamic, all-ages environment. It’s a tribute and adrenaline rush rolled into one.
