Ocean Drive will partner with The Betsy Hotel to present the Overture to Overtown 2024 Jazz Series, featuring the Acute Inflections, in Lummus Park on April 7. Part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, the free, weekly series invites guests to pack picnic blankets or lawn chairs to enjoy concerts on the lawn. Concerts begin at 5 p.m.
Acute Inflections, New York’s sultry duo of vocalist Elasea Douglas bassist and Sadiki Pierre, will bring heir jazzy sound and fashionable flair to the series.
The series continues throughout the month with performances by EnVee in honor of Miami Beach Pride on April 14; the LeNard Rutledge & Jim Gasior Quartet on April 21; and the Melton Mustafa, Jr. Combo on April 28.
Ocean Drive Association’s Promenade Music Series is free and open to the public. In the event of rain, the concert will take place inside The Betsy Hotel.
