Faena Live will host the seventh annual Faena Jazz Series at the Faena Theater, kicking off January 15. Jazz lovers are invited to enjoy the sounds of live jazz at the glamorous intimate theater within Faena Miami Beach.
Curated and produced by Grammy-nominated producer Rachel Faro, the 2025 lineup features six performances by established and emerging artists alike. Multiple Grammy-winning musician, composer, and educator Paquito D’Rivera kicks off the series January 15. D’Rivera will be joined by the Frost School of Music’s Stamps Wind Quintet and the Stamps Jazz Quintet.
The Faena Jazz Series continues in February, with the nostalgic Cuban jazz of Aymée Nuviola and Kemuel Roig’s “Havana Nocturne.” In March, Sullivan Fortner, a pianist from New Orleans fast becoming recognized as one of today’s most innovative improvisers, takes the stage. Then, Veracruz native Lucia, the first Latine winner of the Sarah Vaughan Vocal Jazz Competition, will take the stage in April. In May, the soulful sounds of singer and songwriter Jarrod Lawson will fill the theater. = The season will close with Something Else! featuring Vincent Herring, grooving on soul jazz with a mix of bebop, funk, and R&B.
