On April 19, Eleanor Hoh of Wok Star Supper Club’s and Cedric Vongerichten and Ochi Latjuba Vongerichten of Wayan and Ma•dé will join forces for a collaborative dinner at Wayan Miami in Wynwood. The evening will celebrate Indonesian flavors brought to life through Ochi’s heritage and Cedric’s French technique.
Upon arrival, guests will receive a complimentary lychee martini or turmeric tonic mocktail, plus a brief sambal talk by Cedric. Cedric will guide guests through a selection of housemade sambals paired with krupuk, traditional Indonesian shrimp-flavored crisps. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase one of the featured sambals.

A 10 multi-dish tasting menu ($88) will follow, featuring Wayan Miami’s corn fritters, escargot rendang, chicken satay, tamarind citrus salad, caramelized beef tenderloin, eggplant balado, black cod, nasi goreng, pandan custard, and banana sundae.
