Aarup Kubal

Dr. Aarup Kubal and Dr. Anil Vedula founded their practice Your Eye Specialists (YES) over a decade ago in South Florida. As experienced Lasik and laser eye cataract surgeons, they offer unmatched results with minimal downtime and pride themselves in providing patients with the most advanced treatment options and compassionate care.

Dr. Vedula is a fellowship-trained corneal surgeon who specializes in cataract and refractive surgery, medical and surgical treatments of corneal diseases, and general ophthalmology. He attended Duke University as an undergraduate and was awarded the A.B. Duke Memorial Scholarship to study mathematics and physics. The award is given to only 15 graduating high school seniors nationally. While at Duke, he received the Faculty Scholar Award—the highest award given by the faculty—and graduated summa cum laude. He went on to earn his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine, one of the nation’s most prestigious medical schools, graduating at the top of his class. Dr. Vedula then completed his residency at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the nation’s top residency program and eye hospital. He stayed there to complete a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery.

Dr. Kubal is dual fellowship–trained in glaucoma and corneal disease. He specializes in cataract surgery, premium intraocular lens implants, laser vision correction (Lasik), surgical glaucoma, and corneal transplantation. He attended Harvard University as an undergraduate, where he graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He went on to earn his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, one of the nation’s most prestigious medical schools, graduating at the top of his class. Dr. Kubal stayed in Baltimore for his residency training, which he completed at the world-renowned Wilmer Eye Institute. Dr. Kubal then completed a fellowship at Minnesota Eye Consultants in Minneapolis one of the most prestigious cornea, glaucoma, and refractive surgery fellowships in the country. Dr. Kubal is considered an expert and pioneer in the most advanced forms of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS).
