The Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show​ (DBMIBS) sets sail February 14-18 at a handful of locations throughout the 305, including the Miami Beach Convention Center, Pride Park, Herald Plaza, Museum Park Marina, and Venetian Marina. A network of water taxis and shuttle buses will make it easier than ever to smoothly sail among the venues and get a taste of it all.

For eight-plus decades, DBMIBS has been the destination for boating novices and aficionados alike, showcasing the latest toys, innovations, and products in the global boating biz. In recent years, the show has attracted more than 100,000 guests annually.

“The cities of Miami and Miami Beach have a storied boating and yachting history, adding to the vibrant energy that is unique to the destination,” says Andrew Doole, president of U.S. Boat Shows at Informa Markets, the production team behind DBMIBS. “This year, our show is offering attendees a blend of entertainment, marine know-how, innovation, and an exclusive look at what’s new in the realm of luxury yachting.”

Snag your ticket in advance There is no box office on-site, so be sure to buy a digital ticket ahead of time.

Go VIP Included in a Windward VIP ticket is access to the Superyacht Miami area, as well as one-day admission to the Art Wynwood art fair. This pass also includes culinary bites as well as cocktails from select partners including Crown Royal, Ketel One, and Tanqueray.

Take the Brightline Brightline will provide free shuttles from the Miami Central station to Herald Plaza, potentially saving you big bucks on ride-sharing services and parking.

Don’t stick to a single venue The various locations throughout the boat show experience come with their own unique vibe. Pride Park centers on educational seminars and family-friendly activities. The Superyacht Miami at Yacht Haven area lives up to its name (for an added fee); here you can gawk at some of the largest vessels on Earth. And over at Herald Plaza, you can peruse in-water powerboats as well as retail pavilions showcasing the latest marine accessories, gadgets, merchandise, and other goodies.

Embrace an eco-conscious spirit Beyond seminars on sustainability and discussions on environmental conservation, you’ll notice a number of green initiatives on-site. These include a no-plastic policy for water and soda served at the show, as well as a fleet of electric golf carts transporting guests to various locations. Fun fact: 100 percent of the energy used at this year’s show will be drawn from renewable sources including wind, water, and solar.
