Cafes and eateries across Miami will celebrate National Coffee Day on September 29

In celebration of National Coffee Day on September 29, Brickell’s favorite neighborhood pizzeria will host BOGO Espresso Martini Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. The celebratory cocktails will be $14, and all guests purchasing an espresso martini will receive a second one for free. To keep the party going, head to DC PIE co.’s back bar, DOM’S, for Karaoke Night beginning at 9 p.m. DC PIE co. is located at 1010 Brickell Avenue, Suite 200.

La Santa Taqueria

At La Santa Taqueria, guests will enjoy $11 Carajillos, made with hot coffee and Licor 43, all day on Thursday. La Santa Taqueria is located at 201 NE 82nd Street in Little River.

The West Avenue neighborhood Italian eatery recently launched the Skyy’s The Limit ($18), a smoothly blended espresso featuring house-infused vanilla SKYY Vodka, maple syrup, Bailey’s, and fresh espresso. The martini is topped off with chocolate covered espresso beans soaked in Sambuca.


An original Miami Design District hotspot, OTL offers tasty breakfast and lunch staples alongside their famous coffee menu. OTL welcomes people to sit, eat, and savor a cup of coffee. The perfect spot for a WFH meeting while enjoying a tasty breakfast, this neighborhood cornerstone can’t be skipped on your coffee journey through the neighborhood.

Pura Vida

Located in the heart of Miami Design District, Pura Vida is the neighborhood’s health oasis. Enjoy a seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte or Pura Vida’s signature coffee drinks, like the staple vanilla iced coffee.


This cozy Italian bakery not only dishes out delicious coffee and pastries, but it partners with Best Buddies to provide employment and internship opportunities for folks with special needs and abilities, and also serves as a profit center for the organization.


Tucked inside Mia Market, Sabal Coffee is one of the the Design District’s hidden gems. From cappuccinos to hot drip coffees, this coffee spot has it all.

Saloni Bar by Meraki

Enjoy a Greek twist on a classic espresso martini at the newly opened bar. The Kafestini Espresso ($13), created by local mixologist Vanessa Serrano, features espresso-infused vodka, house made pecan syrup, and double espresso served with Greek yogurt and brown sugar rim.

The Salty

The Salty will be celebrating National Coffee Day with a weekend of promotions. On October 1 and 2, guests will enjoy half-off Cold Brew and Batch Brew, including the popular Maple + Brown Sugar Cold Brew and Cold Brew + Lemonade. The Salty will also showcase a special doughnut to celebrate, of course. The Salted Caramel Latte Donut, made with the shop’s signature 24-hour brioche doughnut, espresso-infused glaze, and topped with salted caramel buttercream and brown butter cookie crumbles. The specials will be offered at all The Salty locations in South Miami, West Palm Beach, and Wynwood.

The cafe recently debuted in the Design District! With a bright and casual atmosphere and a diverse menu, daily specials, and a delicious coffee bar, this newcomer is bound to become a neighborhood favorite.
