Founder and CEO of It’s a 10 Haircare Carolyn Aronson has a special place in her heart for Miami, where she launched her award-winning line. Between running one of the only female-owned professional hair care brands in the world, supporting community organizations such as Leaping Bunny, and instituting a National Love Your Hair Day, the mother of four (with a fifth on the way) likes to spend time enjoying the best of the Magic City. Here, she shares some of her favorite haunts.

Artsy Escape: One of my favorite places to stroll is Wynwood. It’s an incredibly artistic and creative area; even the restaurants have special touches. I once drank a Bloody Mary out of a Campbell’s soup can—very Andy Warhol!

Haute Cuisine: Marion in Brickell is one of my favorites. It has amazing Asian fusion food, and it turns into a dance club as the evening goes on with great DJ music and a fun vibe.

Shops Local: I love visiting the high-end boutiques at the Miami Design District. I always find something beautiful and unique at Dior, Alexander McQueen, and Bottega Veneta.
