At the Aventura Mall—long a playground for fashion lovers and serious retail therapy—kids are finally getting their moment. Enter Camp, the wildly imaginative “shop and play” concept on the mall’s third level near Eataly. Think immersive playground meets experiential retail, complete with a slime bar, a glow-in-the-dark splatter room, and ever-changing themed adventures hidden behind the brand’s famous Magic Door. It’s the kind of place where kids can run, create, and make a glorious mess while parents happily tag along.

The Aventura outpost opened in late 2025 with a rotating themed adventure tucked behind that Magic Door, a signature feature that reveals a new immersive world every few months. Right now, it leads to Bluey’s Backyard, a 4,000-square-foot experience inspired by the Emmy-winning animated series. Inside, visitors can explore a playful landscape complete with interactive games like Obstacle Course and Rug Island, craft stations, and spontaneous “Dance Mode” moments that bring the cartoon’s beloved characters to life. The experience unfolds over roughly an hour of self-guided play, with Camp counselors popping in to lead activities and keep the energy high.

Beyond the themed adventure, Camp leans into hands-on fun. At the slime bar, kids mix their own gooey concoctions with colorful add-ins and sparkly toppings. The splatter room offers another outlet for creative chaos, inviting little ones to don ponchos and fling neon paint across canvases. The result feels refreshingly analog in an era dominated by screens. Tickets typically run $42, with occasional “Magic Deal” discounts.
