Most people have heard of Banksy or recognize his street art, which touches on pop cultural iconography and divisive political issues with poetry, energy, and humor. One of the British artist’s most impressive feats is his ability to remain famously anonymous after all these years. His work comes to life this spring with the exhibition “The Art of Banksy: Without Limits,” currently on display at Ice Palace Studios in Miami. This marks the second city in the U.S. to debut this showing, following successful stints in Europe.
Visitors can explore more than 155 of the artist’s certified prints, photos, lithographs, sculptures, and murals, as well as video mapping installations created only for this tour. Highlights include the sculpture Death of a Phone Booth, a section dedicated to Banksy’s activism related to immigration, and an infinity room that addresses the political world.
