April at the Arsht Center

The center's spring interlude will continue with live music, flamenco, and art sessions for children, beginning on April 9

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will continue its commitment to engaging the community with in-person and virtual events and performances this April. Programming will include dazzling flamenco performances, a lineup of local artists performing for the center’s Live on the Plaza and Jazz Roots on the Plaza series, art and magic workshops for kids, and the ongoing Arsht on the Road pop-up performances throughout the county.

In-person events at the Arsht Center will be socially distanced and conducted according to CDC and local health guidelines. Guests can expect touchless digital ticketing, wellness screenings and temperature checks prior to entry, face coverings (over the mouth and nose) required for all attendees, and light bites and beverages for purchase, delivered directly to your seat (select performances only).

This year’s festival will feature the extraordinary virtuosity of internationally-renowned guitar sensation Adam del Monte and acclaimed Spanish singer Jose Cortes, both making their South Florida debut! Also joining will be multitalented musician Jose Moreno and the breathtaking flamenco dancer Natalia Novela. Siempre Flamenco’s founding members Paco and Celia Fonta will join the ensemble with their guitar-playing and dancing, respectively, to complete this terrific lineup of flamenco stars.
