Apple Chai G&T
Try this enticing cocktail with the warming flavors of spiced apple and chai.
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 ½ oz. Bluecoat American Dry Gin
• ¾ oz. Apple Chai Syrup*
• Tonic water
DIRECTIONS:
*Simmer one quart of fresh apple juice in small sauce pan, add ¾ cup loose chai tea and steep for three minutes. Strain through fine strainer and add equal parts per volume of demerara sugar. Stir until combined. Fill Collins glass with ice and add ingredients. Top off with tonic and garnish with star anise.
Jack the Spy
Jack Frost may make winters cold elsewhere, but here in the warmth of South Florida you can stay refreshed with this cocktail that can be made in large batches beforehand.
INGREDIENTS:
• 1 ¼ oz. rye whiskey
• 1 oz. Croft 10-Year Tawny Port
• ½ oz. Aperol
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Stir thoroughly and strain over a big cube in a double rocks glass. Garnish with a wide lemon peel.
Chambord Royale
A bubbly aperitif mixed with a luxurious raspberry liqueur, this elixir—according to legend—was produced for French royalty to celebrate their visits to the Loire Valley in the 17th century.
INGREDIENTS:
• 1/3 oz. Chambord Liqueur
• Sparkling wine of choice
• Fresh raspberry
DIRECTIONS:
Pour Chambord into flute glass, top with sparkling wine, and finish with a raspberry garnish.
