“My children were blinded by anger and despair and saw divorce as their only alternative,” says a well-known, South Florida doctor about contacting Sara Kavana in a last-ditch attempt to save her daughter’s 30-year marriage. A transformation occurred in just three days, she says, and calls it nothing short of a miracle. Long-term therapy? No. This is Strategic Coaching Intensives, a proprietary three-day method and practice that developed from world-renowned therapists and motivational speakers: Cloe Madaness, and Tony Robbins in the “Robbins Madaness strategic coaching method. This along with Kavana’s 20 years as a marriage and family therapist and family mediator for the Florida Supreme Court. How does Strategic Coaching Intensives differ from traditional therapy?
Traditional therapy is excellent, but requires a large investment of time. Patients go in once a week, sometimes for years, as therapists delve into family patterns and the past. Strategic Coaching is results-oriented, concentrating less on the past and instead moving forward from present day to the future. We touch on every aspect of someone’s life—work, finances, vacations, relationship with children, boundaries, time for self and rest of the family—not one aspect is left without a negotiable.

How do you explain what you do?
I have a simple question: Are you ready to invest three days now to change the rest of your life? Those who are committed to change will do what is required and follow-through with our agreed-upon steps. This takes practice and it is all about setting healthy patterns that need to be repeated day in and day out.

How can you accomplish breakthroughs in just three days?
I engage with clients who are ready to listen (10 percent of the lift) and do the work (90 percent of the lift). All answers lie within us. My secret is identifying those that are ready to trust and believe in themselves; I just guide them on how to start a dialogue from within.
