3 Libations Straight Out of Paradise

If you can’t make it to the tropical oasis of South Beach, you can still drink like it—thanks to these three recipes

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 ½ oz. Absolut Elyx
• 1 oz. soda water
• ¾ oz. St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
• ½ oz. mint syrup
• ½ oz. Mastika
• 4 blackberries
• 4 blueberries

DIRECTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Fill with ice and shake. Strain the mixture into a glass and then fill with crushed ice. If you want to get fancy: Garnish with a dehydrated pineapple slice, a skewer of black cherries, and orchid flower.

Sweet & Spicy Margarita
Shake up summer with a mix of sweet and spicy, courtesy of The Tiki Bar at The Palms Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach.

INGREDIENTS
• 1 ½ oz. jalapeño-infused Casa
Noble Reposado
• ¾ oz. Solerno Blood Orange liquor

• ¾ oz. guava purée
• ¾ oz. lime juice

DIRECTIONS: Add ingredients to shaker with ice. Rim the glass with ancho-sugar. Shake ingredients well and strain into a glass with ice. Garnish with jalapeño and a lime slice.

 

Pepino Hasta la Tambora
Ron Barceló has drummed up a new seasonal cocktail to celebrate the onset of summer by channeling the fresh flavors of cucumber, citrus and, of course, sugar.

INGREDIENTS:
• 2 oz. of Ron Barceló Gran Añejo
• 1 oz. citrus
• 1 oz. fresh cucumber water

• ¾ oz. sugar
• Mint sprig garnish

DIRECTIONS: Add all ingredients in shaker over rocks and shake vigorously. Line the glass inside with cucumber slices and strain the cocktail mix. Add a mint sprig garnish.
