Tui Lifestyle’s brilliant and well-received turnkey interior design concept has taken off over the past year. The latest achievement: a brand-new flagship store in New York City.
Jason Atkins loves New York—and Miami. He still lives here in the Magic City, but with the exciting new venture of Tui Lifestyle in Manhattan, he gets to toggle between the two cities throughout the month, making life and business even a little more exciting than before.

Atkins, who is chairman of the company, founded Tui Lifestyle two years ago with the idea of revolutionizing the way home furnishings are sold by offering customers not just room packages, but entire residential packages that include furniture, decorative accessories, even linens and tableware—created by a high-end interior designer and tailored to each client’s individual lifestyle. The idea was a huge hit in South Florida and grew at a rapid pace, thanks not just to the quality and look of what Tui Lifestyle made available, but because of the customer service that is at such a high level, South Floridians are unaccustomed to it: Within 72 hours, your home can go from bare to beautiful, thanks to Tui Lifestyle’s white-glove delivery and installation policy. They even guarantee that there will be no delays or disappointments—ever.

The Green Street location of Tui Lifestyle in the Big Apple encompasses 10,000 square feet and, Atkins says, “is in an unbelievable location. It’s our flagship store and just a beautiful showroom. It really brings our brand to a higher level.” Atkins says, “The 13 collection styles available consist of very contemporary, Asian contemporary, Tommy Bahama-style, a sophisticated lacquered group—it’s innovative and sophisticated, and there are different themes for all different lifestyles.” The policy differs somewhat from Florida; whereas down south they deliver within 72 hours, in New York they guarantee shipping within 72 hours, since, Atkins points out, the shipment is coming from Miami. “It only takes one day to put the apartment together once it’s here,” Atkins says. “Two or three trucks show up with six or seven guys, and they knock it out.” And, Atkins says, “We’re doing the W Residences at the World Trade Center, which are selling for $2,000 a foot. This is perfect for seasoned investors who don’t have the time to furnish it. This just builds more value, but it’s really what we’ve always done through our networking, and it’s what we did at Icon in Miami: go into high-end buildings.”
The packages run from $12,995 to $39,995, depending on which styles and how many rooms or pieces the client chooses to purchase. “The average home has about 260 pieces of furniture and accessories,” Atkins points out, making the price points unbelievably reasonable considering the designer behind it all, the quality and workmanship of the items, the delivery time and customer service. The guarantee of satisfaction is one that just about no other company provides. And, in addition to residential rooms such as living rooms, family rooms and bedrooms, there are office and patio packages available. The success of Tui Lifestyle has resulted in exponential growth, and today in addition to New York and South Florida there are stores in Toronto, Atlanta, Scottsdale, Las Vegas and even Mexico.
And thanks to the fact that there’s a customer base out there that loves great product and a rarely found high standard of customer service at a reasonable price, the list of cities will continue to grow.
